In 1951, I was a softmore at GHS, I was of draft age and was removed from GHS by the Federal Govt, I was drafted out of GHS along with several others and sent off to the Korean War....During my tour of duty in Korea in 1951, I enrolled in United States Armed Forces Institue and completed all my high school study subjects by their correspondence school. I was granted an accredited High School Diploma by the State of Massachusetts, then went on to a Drafting Technical School at Columbia Technical Institute in Virgina, then after working as an Engineering Draftsman for several years in Florida, I entered the University attending night school....to gain my BS Degree in Civil Engineering...Later I was employed by the Florida State Govt. and specialized in highway and bridge design for 29 years...I am retired now and live here in Eastbourne, England with my wife Margaret, being from Ireland.....
