Gloucester Alumni

ROCKPORT — Nancy Hochberg-Higgins, beloved wife of Richard Higgins and mother of Rachael and Emma Higgins, died at home on Friday, May 23, 2008.

She fought courageously against gastric cancer for over two years.

Born in Boston on Dec. 6, 1949, Nancy was raised in Newton and Rockport.   Read more »

Joe Calomo, grandson of fishing vessel captain Joe “Sandy” Calomo and son of the Ida and Josephs Poggie spotter Mike Calomo, has made a life long commitment to education.
