GLOUCESTER — Eleanor J. (O'Neil) Frost, 82, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Frost who died in 1993.

Born in Gloucester on Sept. 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Enos) O'Neil. She was a lifelong resident of Gloucester and a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1943.

She enjoyed playing bingo and her many trips to Foxwoods in Connecticut.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Kenneth Stewart and Paula and Robert Mountain, all of Gloucester, two sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur and Cathy Lawson of Gloucester and Michael and Priscilla Frost of Mesa, Ariz., six grandchildren, Kenneth Stewart, Jennifer Stewart, Lisa Mountain and William Lawson, all of Gloucester, Jeremy and his wife, Stephanie Mountain of Auburndale, Fla., and Kelly and her husband, Jack Brancaleone of New Jersey, six great-grandchildren, Amber and Brandon Stewart, Marissa Pacheco, Dylan Mountain, Dylan Norris and Zachary Mountain, her dear friends, Evelyn Arvilla and Rose Linquata, and several nieces and nephews.
