HAVERHILL — Lauri "David" Natti Jr., 64, originally of Lanesville, passed away on Monday morning, May 12, 2008, in the Baker-Katz Nursing Home in Haverhill.
David was born in Gloucester, on Dec. 11, 1943, the son of the late Lauri D. Natti and Elsie (Kleimola) Natti. He grew up in Lanesville and attended the Lane School, which he lived directly across the street from and continued on to Gloucester High School.
He loved living and growing up in Lanesville where he was able to enjoy the woods and fishing out of Lane's Cove. He was a life long fan of the Boston Red Sox and watched every game they played.
David had worked as a landscaper in the Cape Ann area for many years, as well as being a baker for the Anadama Bread Company, formerly based in Rockport. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
David is survived by his two sisters, Nancy N. McKay, wife of Robert, of Lanesville, and Selma Patrick, wife of Whittier of Newport, Ore., along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and his extended family of friends at the Baker-Katz Nursing Home and Allegiance Hospice Services.
