HOWARD, Ohio — Margaret M. Bolduc, 79, of Terrace Ridge Circle, Howard, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday July 8, 2008 at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was born on June 26, 1929 in Gloucester to the late Alfred and Ardrith (Moorehouse) Parady.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Bolduc; daughters, Catherine of Boston, Terry of Buffalo, Wyo; a son, John of Hamilton; brothers and sisters, Clifton (Marjory) Parady of Fort Myers, Fla., Shirley (Bucky) Saulnier of Gloucester, Jannette (William) Harvey of Tampa, Fla., Joyce (John) Vickery of Beverly; identical twin, Rose (Gilbert) Lane of Fullerton, Calif., Gerald (Sophie) Parady and Faye (Robert) Brophy, both of Essex. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Parady.

Margaret grew up in Gloucester, where she graduated from Gloucester High School in 1947.

While working at the Gloucester branch of the Boston Mutual Insurance Company, she met her future husband, Arthur Bolduc. They were married on July 23, 1952 and lived in Rhode Island while Arthur was in the Navy. They had three children and moved to Ipswich to raise their family. Margaret worked as a waitress and bartender for most of her life. She loved serving and being around people. She also enjoyed bowling with the ladies on Monday and bingo anytime she could find a game. When they retired, she and Arthur moved to Knox County, Ohio to share Arthur's love of farming. They had a roadside vegetable stand at the corner of Route 3 and Nunda Road, just North of Amity. Because of Margaret's health problems they sold the farm last year and moved to a smaller home. She still continued to enjoy her outings with her husband to church at Saint Luke, local restaurants, and bingo. Her living and activities were very restricted in the last years of her life due to emphysema from smoking. She was leashed to an oxygen supply and expensive medications, yet she continued to smoke.
