GLOUCESTER — Theresa A. Wilkins, 55, of Gloucester, died unexpectedly on Friday morning, April 11, 2008 at her home.
Born in Gloucester on April 28, 1952, daughter of Mary (Lambertson) Wilkins of Gloucester and the late Walter L. Wilkins.
Theresa was a graduate of Gloucester High School with the Class of 1970 and graduate of Bryman Institute.
Since the late 1970s, Theresa was employed with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Boston.
Theresa was a wonderful lady with a big heart. For many years, she taught religious education at Our Lady of Good Voyage Church where she was also a devoted member. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting blankets, doing puzzles and was a huge Red Sox fan. She adored her nieces and nephews and being a big part of their lives. Her love and affection will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her mother Mary, she is survived by her sisters, Helen Chandanais and husband Raymond, Mary Delisi and husband Lorenzo, all of Gloucester; her brothers, Walter "Butch" Wilkins and wife Josephine of Gloucester, John Wilkins and wife Kathy of Salisbury; beloved nieces and nephews, Mary Jo and Michael Wilkins, Teresa, Joseph and Christopher Delisi, Jenn and William Johnson, all of Gloucester, Kelly, Robert and Shannon Wilkins of Salisbury, John "Jay" Chandanais of Gloucester; great-niece, Camilla Wilkins-Bowen of Gloucester.
