Gloucester Alumni

The High School JROTC Rifle Team continues to accumulate awards.

Rifle team members Melissa Strangman, Kevin Geisel, Selina Clancy, Mike Thoma, Chris Lane and Kurt Wheeler recently participated in the Metropolitan League Individual Match.

Two of the competitors came back with medals; Strangman took a gold medal, while Thoma took a silver.

As a team, Gloucester also took back the Metropolitan League Championship Trophy for the fourth year in a row.

This tournament was a good way to keep the cadets sharp as they will be heading to a nationals tournament in Fort Benning, Ga., in two weeks.

Thoma, Giesel, Strangman and Clancy will attend.
