The Docksiders, Gloucester High School's student jazz band, will be performing at Walt
Disney World in Florida next week, during April vacation.

The 27 students that make up the advanced school band, ranging from freshmen to seniors,
will leave for Orlando, Fla., on Saturday and return Friday, April 25.   Read more »

The Docksiders Stage Band, a 28 member group composed of GHS students in grades 9-12 performed for a sold out audience at the Gloucester House April 27. The performance under the direction of GHS Music Teacher Dave Adams was also a benefit event with an auction to support the Docksiders" trip to Walt Disney World in 2008.   Read more »

A string quartet from Gordon College performed at O'Maley Middle School library for Gloucester music students yesterday in an effort to revive an interest in string ensembles that has been dormant for more than 15 years in Gloucester.Four musicians from the Wenham college gave an hourlong performance, playing five classical pieces followed by a question period for the students and their parents.   Read more »
