To raise funds for their travels and other activities, the JROTC is sponsoring an alumni dinner dance on April 11 at 6 p.m.

The dance is open to JROTC alumni, parents of current JROTC cadets, friends of the Gloucester High School JROTC or any other interested parties.   Read more »

Walking by the cafeteria at Gloucester High School late in the afternoon, it's not uncommon to hear the crack of gunshots in unsteady intervals. A peek inside reveals a handful of teenagers in fatigues, lying on their bellies, squinting at a target with a rifle raised to their shoulder.   Read more »

On Saturday November 17th, Gloucester High School will host their first JROTC Drill meet of the 2007~2008 Season. 16 Teams from all over New England are expected to compete at the Field House at GHS.
The JROTC Boosters will have food available in the cafeteria through -out the day. Free Admission...come on by and support your local JROTC

The High School JROTC Rifle Team continues to accumulate awards.

Rifle team members Melissa Strangman, Kevin Geisel, Selina Clancy, Mike Thoma, Chris Lane and Kurt Wheeler recently participated in the Metropolitan League Individual Match.

Two of the competitors came back with medals; Strangman took a gold medal, while Thoma took a silver.   Read more »
